Meet Cheang Sweetie, a recipient of the Sunway University Young Chef Scholarship, whom has transformed her lifelong passion for culinary arts into a remarkable journey of excellence. From experimenting with recipes as a child to pursuing a Diploma in Culinary Arts and advancing to a BSc (Hons) in Culinary Management under the School of Hospitality and Service Management.
Under the mentorship of Chef Patrick Siau, who encouraged her to participate in the WorldSkills competition, Sweetie has honed her skills in professional culinary arts. Her story exemplifies how passion, resilience, and a heart to inspire others in the culinary community.
