What is Sunway's Got Talent?
Sunway's Got Talent (SGT) is an annual talent competition, and has served as the flagship event of SSA since 2017. It was awarded the title of Best Event of the Year during Student LIFE Recognition Awards 2023. SGT celebrates the diverse talents of Sunway students and cultivates a spirit of community engagement by encouraging students to contribute their 3Ts, namely Time, Talent, and Treasure to the broader community.
Eligibility

All participants must be aged 16 and above as of 8 May 2024 who are:

Currently enrolled in any Sunway Education Group institution in Malaysia.

Sunway Alumni who graduated from pre-university, diploma, Sunway TES or degree programmes from year 2021 onwards.

Allowed to participate either as a solo participant or as a member of a group act.

Maximum number of participants for a group act is 8 participants.
-
Participants in a group may only consist of members from Sunway Education Group institutions or are Sunway Alumni only.
Rules and Guidelines
-
Participants are allowed to showcase any talent except for those deemed dangerous or inappropriate.

Substitution of individuals in a group act or change in the category of talent will not be allowed after registration.

There are 3 rounds of competition for Sunway’s Got Talent Season 6, namely the Online Auditions, Top 30 Semi-Finals and Grand Finale.

The panel of judges will have a total of three (3) Golden Buzzer opportunities to select three outstanding performances of their choice in the Top 30 Semi-Finals to advance to the Grand Finale without further voting by the public.

The audience will be entitled to vote for their favourite performance via a public voting system on Google Forms.

The Public Voting will be held from 4 June 2024 (Tuesday), 9:00 AM (MYT) to 7 June 2024 (Friday), 6:00 PM (MYT).

Voters will only be allowed to fill in the Google Form once.

The Top 10 Finalists who are to advance to the Grand Finale will be selected based on 70% judges’ evaluation and 30% public voting from their performances in the Top 30 Semi-Finals.
Golden Buzzer
-
Participants who are awarded the Golden Buzzer will advance to the Grand Finale without participating in the Public Voting session.

The panel of judges will have a total of three (3) Golden Buzzer opportunities to select three outstanding performances of their choice in the Top 30 Semi-Finals to advance to the Grand Finale without further voting by the public.

Judges are not obligated to utilise their Golden Buzzer if decidedly so.
